How
much are closing costs - The basic closing
costs and prepaids for buyers average approximately 4-6% of the sales
price in Broward County, Florida. These include, but are not limited
to, Attorney's fees, title insurance, hazard & flood insurance,
property taxes, abstract fees, escrow fees, documentary stamps,
recording fees, survey charges, lender fees, appraisal charge, credit
report fee, application fee, loan origination fee, discount points,
endorsement fees, intangible tax, prepaid escrow's, inspection costs,
condo or Homeowner association fees, processing fees. A great way to
get an estimate of your expected closing costs is to ask your lender
for a Good Faith Estimate when you submit information for mortgage
pre-qualification; and be sure to have her or him explain these
as necessary.
